	Hanakapiai Beach - Na Pali Coast State Park Great views of the Na Pali Coast. Difficult, steep, often muddy hike. Located 2 miles from the start of the Kalalai Trailhead. All beaches along the Na Pali Coast are considered treacherous and swimming is not advised during any season. ● No facilities

	Kalalau Beach - Na Pali Coast State Park This beach is located at the end of the Kalalau trail, a 6-10 hour walk for most hikers. Long, wide picturesque beach, worth the hike. All beaches along the Na Pali Coast are considered treacherous and swimming is not advised during any season. ● Camping - permit required, long waiting list

	Kekeha Beach Park Scenic, long sandy beach. Good sunbathing. ● Restrooms ● Lifeguards rarely on duty ● Strong currents, high surf, dangerous shorebreak, sharp coral ● Enter water with caution, only when calm

	Pakala Beach Beach is surrounded by trees and lush tropical vegetation. Favorite spot for local surfers. Beautiful sunsets.

	Polihale State Park Wild beach, unprotected from the open ocean. Best reached with 4 wheel drive vehicle. ● Restrooms, showers ● Safe swimming ONLY at Queens Pond, toward the southern end of park ● Camping ● Rapid drop offs, strong rip currents ● A few pavilions

	Salt Pond Beach Park Interesting lava shelves that become tidepools at low tide, good for seeing small sea creatures. Usually safe swimming all year round. The only salt pond still used by Hawaiians today to make sea salt. PLEASE Do not enter salt making area without permission. ● Good swimming, windsurfing, snorkeling ● Restrooms, showers ● Picnic area, grills, pavilions ● Camping
