Don't forget to check out the hike up Diamond Head. This hike is ranked as easy to moderate and you can do it without a tour guide. The hike is about 1-3/4 miles and takes about 1-1/2 hours. This hike is well worth the effort! You will be rewarded with awesome views of the western side of Oahu. Bring water and start out early as there is no shade. There is a 225 foot unlit tunnel so you might want to bring a flashlight. The entrance fee is $5.00 per car or $1 per person for pedestrians. |
