Koolau Mountains Watershed Partnership
What is a watershed?
A watershed is the region draining into a river, river system, or other body of water. It is a complex mixture of natural resources - animals, soils, air, plants and water. Healthy watersheds are essential for a healthy environment and economy.
The Ko'olau Mountains Watershed Partnership (KMWP) is a consortium of landowners and interested parties who have banded together to protect the watershed areas of the Ko'olau mountains on Oahu.
